Dry-Vibe
Dry-Vibe is refractory designed to be installed dry by mechanical vibration. The installation of vibe material includes dry material being poured onto the tundish floor and leveled, the void is filled between the former and the tundish sidewalls, and the former is vibrated at the end of installation. The advantages of using dry vibe linings include the absence of water that reduces the risk of hydrogen pickup during casting, absence of direct adhesion to the tundish permanent lining, and the life of the tundish permanent lining. The smooth finish on the dry lining and lining geometry helps to improve the steel quality, better erosion resistance, and increase sequence length.Partner with us!
